Starting August through December, participants will receive step-by-step instructions on how to carve and print their very own Pennsylvania German motif and will create a series of greeting cards to take home. Fort Ticonderoga Drum Basket Workshop

Inspired by BHC’s recent bus trip to the beautiful Lake George region, this round basket resembles a drum found in Fort Ticonderoga’s collection and would be great as a decorative planter or storage container. Oyster Basket Workshop

On a recent bus trip to Historic Richmond Town, BHC Education Curator, Vicky Heffner, examined a nineteenth-century oyster basket and reproduced it for this workshop. While oystering with a handwoven basket is a bit outdated, this basket is sure to add to anyone’s decor.
