Wyomissing High Sch. grad JOSH KOHL, tenor, at Albright 12 days from now!

1- JOSH KOHL, a Wyomissing High graduate, will appear in the
William E. Maier Memorial Concert at ALBRIGHT COLLEGE
on Friday night, November 30th, 2007, at 8 p.m.

Josh brings much credit to his Berks background in that he's
had great success on the musical stage....in light opera,
concert fare, grand opera, and in the presentation of
old-time popular favorites---all across the United States.

This past summer, he was the golden boy at the Ohio Light
Opera Festival at Wooster, Ohio. He received standing
ovations for his appearances in Romberg's STUDENT PRINCE,
in which he played opposite his wife, Sarah, whom he wed
about two years ago.

Here are two audio clips from last summer's STUDENT PRINCE.
In the first, the soprano is Sarah Asmar-Kohl, Josh's wife.

For those unfamiliar with the Ohio Light Opera Festival,
which runs from mid-June to early August, be aware it draws
attendees from all over the United States and abroad
because of its staging seven different musical shows
each season that can be heard virtually no place else in
the world.

Josh appears in a commercially available DVD and several
CD-sets that have sold extensively....and one or two more
are in the works for release in the new year.

Two dates set for autographing sessions of THE PASSING SCENE--Volume 15

2- Those familiar with Passing Scene autographing sessions are
aware what an arduous task it is to sign books for a full day.
In the early years of the series, when one day was set aside
for the process, we often autographed 1,500 to 1,800 books
between 9:30 and 4 p.m., which left us all but incapacitated
for days afterwards.

Since both Gloria and I have undergone operations on both hands
for carpal tunnel problems, we have to pace ourselves to survive
the ordeal!

Accordingly, the first session will be Sunday, Dec. 2nd, from
1 to 4 p.m.

The 2nd session is on Saturday, Dec. 8th from 9:30 to noon.....
and from 1 to 4.

It's probable that we'll be able to autograph some books in
the Society's museum shop the day of Centre Park's 23rd
Annual Christmas Home Tour...on Sunday, Dec. 9th...between
the hours of 1 and 6.
