Another News-Bits release will following within a day or two. ============================================== ============================================== 1- Tonight (WED., Sept 6th) is the Society's monthly BCTV program. Lots of old photos being offered and bits of news. We'll have two guests: Sime Bertolet, the Society's Interim Executive Director, and Max Muller, our German teen-aged intern from Reutlingen. Max has been a great help and a joy to work with. The program begins at 7 p.m. and end at 8 p.m. =================================================== 2- Tomorrow morning our FIRST THURSAY series of illustrated talks recommences....at 8:30 a.m. (for breakfast); program begins at 9 and ends around 10 a.m. Ben Bernhart, author of over a dozen books on railroading and other topics, will present "The Pennsylvania Railroad in the Schuylkill Valley." This promises to be a real treat. Cost for members: $1 Cost of non-members: $2 Come and bring friends! Easy parking at the Society of Thursday mornings.... and our new parking lot behind Society headquarters is open for your convenience. Parking is free!~ =====================================END
