1- Annual Hymn-sing at Old Belleman's Church, Mohrsville,
will be held on Sunday, May 21, 2006 at 2:30 PM.

YOU are invited. If you've never seen this historic church,
this is the perfect opportunity.

The Church, dedicated in 1815, is listed on the National
Register of Historic Places. The Church remains as originally
built, with a hand-pump single-manual pipe organ, wine-glass
pulpit---and no heat, no electricity, and no inside plumbing.

The following two photos were taken by Wm. H. Keller of Rdg.
in 1923. Very little has changed in the 80+ years since that
time! The organ seen on the balcony will be used for the
hymn-sing.

Entering the sanctuary is like stepping back in time to the
19th century.

Handicap acessible. Come to sing--or to help pump the organ.

2- Death of Richard Machmer, who helped curate a number
of significant exhibits at the Historical Society. Dick was
a long-time member and Trustee.

3- Death of Dr. Donald Shelley, long-time Society member
who help curate a number of significant exhibits at the
Historical Society--most specifically, the fractur show.
