Manhattan’s Historic and Haunted Lower East Side with Charlie Adams

Charlie Adams will once again entertain participants in this ghostly tour of the Lower East Side of Manhattan. The Merchant’s House Museum is the only nineteenth-century home in New York City preserved intact, both inside and out. Built in 1832 by hatter Joseph Brewster, it was later sold to Seabury Tredwell in 1840 whose daughter lived there until the 1930s. Andrew Wyeth: In Retrospect will bring together both well-known and rarely seen works created between the mid-1930’s and Wyeth’s death in 2009. This exhibit reveals the subjects that continually inspired Wyeth and the evolution of his imagery. Holiday House Tour of Historic Homes in Delaware
