  The World War I & Berks project is a year-long commemoration of the 100th Anniversary of World War I that examines Berks County’s contributions to the Great War and the effects the war had on our local community. Berks County’s Foodways Join us for our 3rd annual gathering of history enthusiasts featuring informative lectures on Berks County history by academics and historians. The 2018 Conference will explore the Foodways of Berks County. A Hike Through History

Discover your Berks history at the Berks History Center Museum with special guided tours & student activities. Cost: $10 per combined parent and student with additional children costing $3.00/child. Cost includes a guided tour (given on the hour) and hands-on activities. Reservations are required. Enjoy a basket weaving activity (includes instructions and materials) and take home your own handmade basket for an additional $5 per person. Children 3 and under free. Junior Historian Camp is an opportunity for children ages 7-17 to enrich their summer with fun, hands-on learning at the Berks History Center.
