Votes for Women: Berks Suffrage 2020 Centennial Kick-Off Event

Kick off the Berks Suffrage 2020 Centennial with women’s historian, Hallie Vaughan, who will portray the influential suffragist, Alice Paul and share the history of the women’s suffrage movement. Following the program, enjoy a theatrical performance of “System Shakers and Barrier Breakers: The Suffragists,” written and performed by Berks County women.

Tickets: $5 members, $8 non-members
All tickets are general admission. Seating is first come, first serve. Doors open at 9am.

An additional repeat performance will also be held at the Berks History Center on Wednesday, March 11 at 7pm. If you are unable to attend on Saturday for the kick-off event, we encourage you to attend earlier that same week for the “soft opening” of the event. Admission will be the same, $5 for members, $8 for non-members.
