Cheers to History: Summer Social with Reading Occasional Cocktail Club

May 13 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

Relive Reading’s high society heyday with an exclusive Summer Social hosted by Reading Occasional Cocktail Club.

This event will begin at 10am with an hour-long historical presentation titled Ruling the Roost: Readings Social Heyday. Explore Reading’s forgotten social scene, including Mt. Penn’s Gravity Railroad Wine Trail, the legendary “Big Bearded Santa Claus of the Hills”, and his infamous Kuechler’s Roost, in a presentation by freelance food & drink writer, Mike Madaio.

Can’t make it to the Summer Social event?! Don’t worry, you can still attend the morning program for regular admission.

Then, from 11am-4pm, re-imagine Readings high society heyday with an exclusive, period-inspired event hosted by Reading Occasional Cocktail Club. Enjoy music, cocktails, and food as well as guided tours of the Berks History Center.

Tickets Required. Seating Limited.
