Join us for a rockin’ good time at the Magical History Tour: Hours of Flower Power. This is THE event of the season! Berks History Center presents CHAPTER FIVE of our local Berks County ‘Woodstock-like’ music festival.
Reading and Berks are known for their great musicians and the venues where they played back in the day, such as the Hamburg Field House, St. Lawrence Stadium, the Bandshell, and even Boscov’s East’s parking lot! Reunions of local bands will include Hot Ice, Clench, and Number Nine.
We strive to bring a day of music and atmosphere that reflects the 1960s and early 1970s. Dust off your bellbottoms and tie-dyed shirts for the occasion.
Be There or Be Square!
Doors open at 2:00PM. Music starts at 2:30PM. No outside food, drinks or coolers are permitted. Please wear comfortable footwear and weather appropriate attire. This outdoor event is rain or shine!
Magical History Tour is also the flagship event for the Berks County Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. The 2017 Official Induction Ceremony of the newest additions to the BCCRHoF will be held at 5:15PM.
This event is handicap accessible; however, not all of the terrain is flat or paved. Please use caution. We recommend that attendees with mobility limitations park in the EAST Parking Lot (to the right of the main building when facing the building).
