Junior Historian Camp is an opportunity for children ages 7-17 to enrich their summer with fun, hands-on learning at the Berks History Center.
This year the BHC Junior Historian Camp theme is Victory Camp! Join the patriotic fun as we commemorate the 100th Anniversary of World War I. Activities include fabric pine cones, basketry and games popular during the early twentieth century. Junior Historians will also have full access to BHC’s museum exhibits including the World War I & Berks exhibit and the Hands On History Room, an interactive children’s exhibit that provides a one of a kind historic learning experience!
The Berks History Center’s Junior Historian Camp is held the last week in June, Tuesday-Thursday, 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. Cost for this camp is $50. Members of the 1776 Club (Berks History Center’s junior historian club) pay only $35.
To register your child for either the Junior Historian Camp and/or the 1776 Club, contact Vicky Heffner, Education Curator, at firstname.lastname@example.org or 610.375.4375.
